Christian Church Plans to Drop Electronic Bibles on ISIS With Drones

Just when we thought we had seen it all, then this is about to happen;
Electronic Bibles on ISIS With Drones
Demonstration of the process

A Christian church in Sweden plans to deploy drones in parts of Iraq that are currently controlled by the Islamic terrorist group ISIS. But unlike the American military, they won’t be dropping bombs. The church plans to drop electronic Bibles.

“The Bibles are the size of pill boxes and have a display. They require no electricity but work on their own,” the church’s mission director Christian Åkerhielm told Swedish TV broadcaster SVT. Åkerhielm also rejects characterizations that the mission of dropping Bibles is aggressive and instead told the Washington Post that it’s “closer to traditional smuggling of Bibles.”

The church, known as church Livets Ord, or “Word of Life” in English, gave a demonstration of the drones at a recent church service and posted the photo to its Instagram page. It appears to be a Phantom DJI 4 model.

Åkerhielm told the Washington Post that the church would be hiring a contractor to carry out the mission. It’s not immediately clear who that contractor would be, how many drones would be operating, nor when they planned to execute their mission.

“Our ambition is to pass on the hope and love of the Christian gospel to a population living in closed areas where they are being denied human rights,” the church said in a message on its home page.

I hope the churches in Africa will emulate this, and show support to the internally displaced persons loitering up and down the streets of Borno, Yobe etc. Bags of food would be more appropriate though.
